Talking About Weather

Kundtz begins today’s message by posing the question “How did it come to be that the phrase ‘talking about the weather’ means talking about nothing important, or nothing in particular?” In actuality, as discussed in today’s text, the weather is actually a very important life changing aspect of life, which actually impacts many things, and in particular our mood. As Kundtz writes, “The weather always affects how I feel; it always influences just how I am in this particular spot on the Earth. Always.” Rainy days make us yearn to relax and snuggle up for a nap. Sunny days on the other hand, make us want to get up and go.

Psalm‬ ‭148‬:‭8‬ speaks about the weather. “Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; Stormy wind fulfilling his word”. Regardless of the weather conditions and moods it puts us in, if we are unable to do anything else, as with the scripture in the Psalm, we shall always give praise to God.

‭‭Small Straws Scripture: Philippians 3:13-14

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Let us not get caught up in our minds with what has happened which may cause regrets and thoughts of would have, should have, and could have. But let us focus on opportunities ahead that we must work to live fully and never take for granted, and walk in faith in all that we put our minds to and do.

Youversion Verse of the Day: 1 Corinthians 3:7

So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

Let us know that the our faith in God is the ultimate source of all that becomes in our lives.

Our Father is the source of all that we need, desire, and will receive in this life, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
