Gift from a Cat

Kundtz reminds us this morning that animals can be great distraction from the stresses of life. This morning he speaks about encountering a stray cat in the community, and how one’s engagement changed their physical and mental state. Whether a real animal or a stuffed animal (as some children and adults prefer), may we find emotional suppprt when we need moments away from the seriousness and pressures of life. May we find comfort and still away for moments at a time to rewind or wind down.

2 Corinthians 13:11 reads, “…Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.” However we may find peace and comfort among our days, let us seek to do so.

Small Straws Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Let us never worry about what is to come, for our Father goes before us with His master plan, preparing us for greater while preparing us in ways we cannot ever imagine.

Youversion Verse of the Day: 1 John 5:14

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.

There is nothing that our Father won’t do to ensure we prosper. Therefore know that rejection is protection as He knows what’s best.

There is protection in knowing that He wants what’s best and gives us that, even through tests, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
