Our pace and race with the Father will always pay off

“As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life's marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us.” Hebrews 12:1

Each day may we “Run with Endurance” as is the title of today’s devotional from “Daily Strength for Women. The message reminds us, “God does not promise us lives free of pain and difficulty. What he does promise is that he will be with us and give us the strength we need to run this race.” With each day and every stride along life’s way, seek Him and depend on Him to see you through.

Reflection from Anxious About Money

This morning we are encouraged to “Fix Our Mindset” as we continue with the series “Anxious About Money”. The message begins, “The way we view money and possessions is just as important as how we actually spend and use them.” So we are given some key points from Matthew 6:19-34 to focus our mindset. First, we must remember that earth isn’t home. We should not work to store up things here, for life is only temporary. Second, we must serve God and not money or anything else. We must remember that worrying doesn’t produce anything, but we must remember the birds. Our Father provides for them, and He loves us so much more. Let go and let God lead you in all things, including your finances, my friend.
