Every encounter has an impact on our lives
He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy. Job 8:21
Today’s message speaks about JOY. The text BEgins, “Joy's the most natural thing when you are experiencing something exciting, fun, humorous, or satisfying…. We may not be in a situation that feels very joyful; yet, there is hope of a day coming when we will once again laugh and shout with joy. As the title suggests, there is always something “Yet to Come.” As the scripture underscores, the difference BEtween JOY and Job in the bible—the individual who went through so much, is “B”; or in context spelled out is “BE”. When we are going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak), like Job we must just BE—BE still and know that He is God. As we work to trust and BElieve His will and His way, we will focus on the fact that whatever we are going through, there is YET something in His plan for our lives to come. His yet will always work in our favor and BE something or somethings (in the difficult times) we never would have imagined.
Ezra 8
Let us REmember the words from Ezra 8:22, which says, “The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.”
REflection from Awesome: Building Great Relationships by Rick Warren
This morning Rick Warren encourages us to “Love People by Listening”. He says, “Listening is probably the most important skill in building friendships and relationships, because you can’t love people without listening to them. There’s a big difference between hearing and listening. You can hear something without really listening…. Listening means you also hear what the person isn’t saying.” He then highlights Romans 15:2 which says, “We must bear the ‘burden’ of being considerate of the doubts and fears of others”. We never truly know what others are going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak), so let us work as doers of Christ, serving with love and listening with empathy to others along our JOurneY.
Proverbs 27:17
Let us never take for granted seasons that occur which allow our lives to cross paths with children of God to impact our lives through outward manifestation or within through a common bond with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Every encounter has an impact on our lives, my friend.
