Less of self for more of God’s wealth

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Psalm 37:7

We are REminded this morning that “God still performs miracles. When we feel like we're surrounded by enemies on all sides, when we struggle to overcome difficulties surrounding us, when we feel like this world is going to take us down, we need not worry, for our heavenly Father will fight for us. The battle is his.“ My siSTAR, my brother, we only have to trust, wait well, and watch our Father come through. He can do all things but fail, and He’s never lost a battle. Are you looking for a miracle? It’s on the way—BElieve.

Rick Warren tells us this morning that “Humility is the Antidote” to pride. He goes on to say, “Pride destroys relationships…. Humility builds relationships. How do you grow in humility? It happens by letting Jesus Christ begin to control your thoughts, heart, attitudes, and reactions.” We should always strive to BE more like Jesus, and we know Jesus is love. Let us strive to love others as we love ourselves, BEing humble, faithful, true and giving selflessly.
