Meditate on the Master and let love lead this day

This morning I cannot even provide a REflection for today’s devotional; I can only share it verbatim. God definitely is speaking to me, REminding me that it is a new day with new BEginnings, new opportunities, new mercies. Today I must BEgin again, REgardless of yesterday’s events. People are in need of love—God is love. Let us provide that this day and each day to ourselves and to others.

A Genuine Love from Daily Strength for Women

Love each other with genuine affection and take delight in honoring each other.

ROMANS 12:10 NLT

One of the most difficult things to do is to love someone who doesn't want to be loved. To love those who push you away every time you try to help, those who are difficult, and those who are maybe even a little mean is discouraging, defeating, even costly.

Genuine love keeps showing up. It continues to extend a hand of grace. It serves in every capacity possible. It sees the whole person.

Sometimes the hardness of a person is just a mask. Often those difficult people need to know deep down inside that they are worth the effort.

Is there someone in your life that is difficult to love? Reach out to them today and let them know they are seen.

REflection from Make Space for What Matters by Youversion

As we continue with “Make Space for What Matters”, to today’s message focuses on meditation saying, “Meditation is referred to multiple times in the Bible as a way for followers of God to refocus and reflect on His words. Meditation is not something that can be done in our own strength. It involves drawing near to God and asking Him to make His thoughts and ways known to us.” May we work to take time during the day to meditate on His word throughout the day, working to keep us at perfect peace, and REminding us of our purpose and plan, but most importantly understanding our strength truly comes from Him.

John 12:8

There will always BE those in need around us. Let us work to serve and give unto them as we would our Father.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Meditate on the Master and let love lead this day, my friend.
