Sit in silence with the Savior in stillness

Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” Mark 6:31

Today’s devotional “Busyness” says, “Our lives are so full that we often have difficulty finding time to spend with Jesus. We have so much that demands our attention.” We must REcall though that our God shall supply all of our needs; that includes REst and strength to go on. Take moments of meditation even on your busiest days to pause and pray to continue your day in His way.

REflection from Make Space for What Matters by Youversion

This morning’s message from “Make Space for What Matters” by Youversion speaks on stillness. It says, “Through stillness, we learn to pay attention to what God is doing in us and around us. But stillness is both active and passive. It involves allowing God to refocus our vision and tune our ears to His voice while we give Him the noise inside us. It requires surrendering our worries, concerns, and problems to God while allowing Him to refocus our hearts on Him.” Again, we are REminded of the importance of just BEing, doing nothing physically yet engaging with the Father mentally and physically to give us peace and strength. As one of my favorite scriptures says, “Be still and know that He is God” (Psalm 46:10).

Isaiah 53:5

Never hang your head BEcause of your sins, for the Savior was hung on high so we might live and BE healed.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Sit in silence with the Savior in stillness, my friend.
