Devotional for September 2, 2020
“You wearied yourself by such going about, but you would not say, ‘It is hopeless.’ You found renewal of your strength, and so you did not faint.” Isaiah 57:10
You are your biggest cheerleader. As I tell my coaching clients, (Y.O.U) you only understand what you feel, what you’ve been through, what you’re going through, but most importantly what you desire. Whether you are down and out, or you have hit that point in life where you are REaping your harvest, Y.O.U. and only you must talk about the way you want to BE, and have words of faith and victory coming out of your mouth, as recommended by Osteen. As one of my favorite gospel songs says, speak over yourself, encourage yourself in the Lord.
Ecclesiastes 1
In Ecclesiastes 1, it is evident through the speaker, the king of Jerusalem at time, that wisdom and life can seem full of confusion and misunderstanding. No matter how wise you may be, without the wisdom of our Father, everything in things world can seem meaningless. May we work to keep our focus on Thee and the words and wisdom and plans He has for us and to prosper us.
It’s September and harvest season. The ninth month symbolizing completeness. It is time to REap what you have sown. In Steve Repak’s devotional today he says, “By placing your trust and faith in Him, your money, your relationships, your life, and whatever else is important to you, your life will be everything you ever dreamed of. If you do it God’s way...In Christ, all things are possible!” It is time for us to REap the harvest God has promised. Give every aspect of your life to the Father and watch Him multiply what you ask for, for He will give you double for your trouble (Isaiah 61:7) and beauty for your ashes (Isaiah 61:3). He will do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ever ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Ephesians 6:10
Look to the Lord, your own personal trainer, who can lift the weight from you, always spotting you and strengthening you along life’s JOurneY. There is no load He will give you that you cannot carry. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Work on but worry not about wealth and wellness this Wednesday, my friend.
