Take heart in knowing from us, He will never depart

They will have no fear of bad news;
their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. Psalm 112:7

“Daily Strength for Women” speaks about “A Steady Heart” this morning. The message says, “ God has asked you a specific thing. As you begin to put the leg work behind the calling he has given you, you cannot expect the road to be without opposition…. In moving toward what God wants you to do, the forces of darkness will move back…. Our hearts can be firm as a rock when we trust that God is working and moving on our behalf.“ Psalm 84:11 says, “…No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly. The Lord loves us and will not play with our emotions, for we are His children and He loves us. There is no fear in our hearts when our hearts are entrusted to our Father; our desires He will fulfill.

Luke 7

Just as Jesus had spoken to the sinful woman in Luke 7:50, let us know “Our faith has saved us; go in peace.’”

Reflection from Don’t Lose Heart by Steven Curtis Chapman

Steven Curtis Chapman this morning speaks to not losing heart. He BEgins by highlighting 2 Corinthians 4:16-18. Verse 16 says, “So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day”, and verses 17-18 REmind us that whatever we might BE going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) is only temporary, but is preparing us for what’s not seen and based on what our Father has prepared for us.

Chapman encourages us saying, “Don’t give up on sharing our own stories about the power of the gospel... Don’t give up on telling people what God is doing in your life, or even talking about your own journey through the dark and difficult times…even being honest about doubt. Sometimes these are the things people need to hear most…“. Let us give ourselves away, including our stories and experiences along life’s JOurneY so we might BE used by Him to help others along the way.
