Do well and dwell with the Father
Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lordwith my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. Psalm 111:1
Today’s devotional is a REmnder of the importance of likeminded company. It says, “When we are together with people who share the same values, stories, and even similar humor, it makes life feel more meaningful. Think about the community that you feel closest to and make an effort to get in touch today. God doesn't want us to do life alone.” Do not take lightly who you surround yourself with each day. BE intentional about the feelings you desire through fellowship.
Luke 6
There are so many lessons of love in Luke 6, and these are a few. “‘But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. Do to others as you would have them do to you. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.’” (Luke 6:27-28, 31, 38).
REflection from Don’t Lose Hope
Today we BEgin the devotional series “Don’t Lose Hope” by Steven Curtis Chapman. Chapman says, “The truth is, no matter what work God gives us, it’s not up to us to figure it all out. God ‘is able to do far more abundantly than anything we can ever ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). And the part that God has given us to do is to simply show up and look for ways to encourage each other however we can and as often as we can. And if we are willing, He will use us along the way to help others not lose heart.” Let us BE dedicated each day to do the work He has equipped us to do each day, for we are working unto Him. Let the fruits of our labor love and lift and lead someone to Him or closer to Him BEcause of our actions or interactions with others.
