Fill up on the Fruit of the Spirit each day
“When anxiety was great within me,
your consolation brought me joy.” Psalm 94:19
This morning’s message from “Daily Strength for Women” encourages us to “Laugh Out Loud”. The writer says, “When was the last time you had an all-out belly laugh? Most of us don't have enough of those…. While laughter won't alleviate the causes of stress in your life, it can help you feel better, which in turn leads to relaxation and the renewed ability to face whats going on…. God made laughter and he wants us to enjoy it.” Though it is important for us to BE serious and focus on goals at hand, it is also important for us live life, lighten up, and laugh—even at ourselves. Love and laughter are both good for the soul.
Luke 15
Let us continue to do well and know the Father loves us and is with us. However, in Luke 15:7 He says, “I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”
REflection from Fruitful Living by Courtnaye Richard
Today’s message from Courtnaye Richard is called “Living a Life of Peace & Patience”. She BEgins REminding us that Jesus wants us to BE peacemakers, as in Matthew 5:9 and REminds us of Romans 12:18 which says, “Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.” She encourages us saying, “Feel free to cry out to God when you feel weak or broken and need patience to endure whatever test or trial you're facing.” Let us pause, pray, and BE patient, and watch the Lord produce peace.
