Daily Devotional for July 5, 2021

“And the Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people… So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians.” Exodus 3:7-8

God is our Abba Father; He sees us, He is with us, and He will deliver us. This morning Osteen tells about our Father with the Israelites BEing mistreated in slavery. Osteen says, “God told them, ‘I’m coming down to make your wrongs right, to bring justice, and to pick you up.’” He loves us and cherishes us. Know that within your hearts. We are precious in His sight, like rubies and gold.

Genesis 32

Though we are in Christ, we will have to struggle with things in life. However, as Jacob literally wrestled with God in Genesis 32, we will too. Though we will wrestle with Him, we are not going against Him, but intertwined to see things through as He strengths us and shows us how much we can truly endure. God is for us and never against us.

Gaining Godly Wisdom

Today’s devotional from Youversion speaks about “Wisdom from Proverbs”. We will never know it all and can never know too much. As stated, “We all have room to grow, so let’s put aside a prideful mindset in order to become wise… Nothing this world has to offer can compare with the wisdom we can receive from God and others.”

Psalms 100:5
