A Fresh Perspective

Many of us get in a routine, keep our heads down and just go like robots every day. We aren’t mindful of time, and because of responsibilities associated with our families, we miss out on our families. As written in today’s message, “It's easy to get caught up in the ‘tyranny of the urgent’ and lose perspective. When we take a step back and look at our lives more objectively, we often see alternative ways of doing things. Such insights can come from a trusted friend or relative.”Let us make sure we take heed to words of wisdom and caution from those around us who love us and see what sometimes we don’t want to see for ourselves to help us.

Exodus 18:19 says, "Listen now to me and I will give you some advice, and may God be with you."

We all need wise counsel to remind us of the importance of delegation and how we cannot do all things like Christ but we can all things that He has called us to do in Him.

Let us always look to give thanks to our Father for His goodness, mercy, grace, and authority that endures eternally.
