Is Anyone Listening?

Our lives are filled with noise and distractions, busyness with day to day life. However, it is important for us to take time to still ourselves and take time to be with our Father. Today’s message says, “Christians have the assurance that God will hear them when they call. In turn, we can hear God's voice of love when we listen.” When was the last time you intentionally sat with God to hear Him as you sit with a friend or loved one? It’s overdue; He’s waiting to engage with you.

John 14:16 reads, “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever.”

There is no time in our lives that we will be without the comfort, counsel and security of our Father.

Small Straws Scripture: Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

There is nothing that we need to sit around and waste time worrying about or get ourselves worked up about, for our Father is with us, has gone before us and is prepared to guide us and take us to and through every situation.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Luke 6:38

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

When we give from the heart, God gives to us and it is guaranteed to be greater. Let us be doers for and with others as He is always doing and giving to us.
