Lead with love

“But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: ‘God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.’” James‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

As we BEgin this workweek, let us REmember: “Quit focusing on who is against you. They are a part of the plan to get you to your destiny. God will use them to propel you forward.” These are words shared by Osteen in today’s message. Let us continue to focus on our perspective in life. Two scriptures come to mind for us to think about in times like this. The first (as usual), “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans‬ ‭8:28‬). The second, Romans 8:31, “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” He continuously gives us grace, so let’s focus on running our race.

Lamentations 1

Let us REmain focused on doing good and finding the good in others so that as in Lamentations 1:5, the Lord will not bring grief to us because of our many sins.

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

This morning Meyer speaks about marriage. As the title informs us, “Serve Each Other in Marriage”. Service in a union has to BE REciprocated; equally yoked. Since going through a divorce, when devotionals talk about marriage, I always go into questioning mode about myself. Did I do all that I could do? Did I love unconditionally? A I REad today’s message, it was the first time that I truly felt confirmation. Meyer says, “Love is best expressed through service. Words are wonderful, but when you walk in love, your commitment will also be shown through your actions of love.” Until the Father provides the one He has kept for me, I will still BE of service to others, loving my neighbors as myself and as Christ expects of me.

Zephaniah 3:17

No matter what we go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak), His love is always available to me and you.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Lead with love, my friend.
