We are not made to be burdened but blessed
Burden-Bearing
Why do we continue to struggle in life carrying burdens when our Father specifically asks us to give them to Him? Why do we allow ourselves to suffer and struggle when we don’t have to? The author today reminds us that any many scriptures we are compared to sheep which are not burden-bearing animals.
Matthew 11:28-30 says, “Jesus tells us, ‘If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to me and I will give you rest. Take the yoke I give you. Put it on your shoulders and learn from me. I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest. This yoke is easy to bear, and this burden is light’”.
Our Lord extends us an invitation to give Him whatever is weighing us down, mentally, physically, emotionally, physically, financially, in any capacity and let Him carry it and carry us through.
Small Straws Scripture: Ecclesiastes 5:2 Do not be rash with your mouth, and let not your heart utter anything hastily before God. For God is in heaven, and you on earth; therefore let your words be few.
Let us always approach our Father with reverence, being slow to speak and grateful, giving thanks for what He’s done, and praising Him in advance for what He will do that we may or may not even ask.
Youversion Verse of the Day: 2 Corinthians 9:6
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
Let us be generous with what we sow and what we have and watch our Savior multiply and bless us even more.
We are not made to be burdened but blessed, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
