We have a true friend indeed in Jesus

And Samson's wife was given to his companion, who had been his best man. Judges 14:20 ESV

We all have someone who “Used to be a Friend”, but along the way an experience caused extreme hurt, severing ties. We are reminded this morning, “We are called by Jesus to love our enemies. This doesn't mean, of course, that we must conjure up warm fuzzies for a person who has damaged a marriage or has hurt us in some other destructive way; but it does mean that we ‘love’ them by not enacting vengeance on them ourselves.” Let us love and allow God to provide the lessons to be learned from those who do us wrong.
