Expect the unexpected and unimaginable blessings from our Father
Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. Now Martha said to Jesus, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died." John 11:20-21 NKJV
Our Father is the “God of the Unexpected”. Today’s message highlights a few examples saying, “Who expected the Messiah in a cow's crib? Or angels heralding shepherds? Or the Life-giver hanging on a cross?” These are a few examples of the unexpected with Christ. Similarly, the writer goes on in a prayer saying, “You work in unexpected ways. You see my unexpected tears, and You respond to them according to Your great plan.” May we continue to remain steadfast in our hearts and beliefs that He has and will continue to answer our prayers in the way He sees fit and best for our lives. The wait—patience is worth the process.
Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together (Lamentations 3, Lamentations 4, & Lamentations 5)
“It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, Because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: Great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; Therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, To the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly Wait for the salvation of the LORD.” Lamentations 3:22-26 KJV
Romans 12:1
May our lives be lived for the Lord.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Expect the unexpected and unimaginable blessings from our Father, my friend.
