We have everything we need in Christ, we only have to remain His studies and willing vessels open to receive all that He has for you and me
Anxious Anticipations
Yesterday I had the opportunity to accompany my soon to be sister-in-law as she looked at a wedding venue. As we were returning home we began to discuss summer travel, and I mentioned that I could not even begin to think that far away; I have to just keep my mind focused on today. That’s exactly what this morning’s message is about, appreciating the present. The question was posed, “Have you ever been so eager for the future that you forgot to be thankful for the present day?” That was me during a point in life. When I was miserable and struggling I wanted life to hurry and pass me by, but now I am thankful and grateful for each moment as I have truly learned to live in each one with no regrets. Every moment is a blessing and opportunity to appreciate life that God has granted to enjoy our loved ones and blessings bestowed upon us. Appreciate life for it can be gone in an instant.
Philippians 4:11 reads, “I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.”
Let us be grateful in all situations with what we have and what we have been blessed with for everything we have is of God and what He has for us at that appointed time as a part of His plan for our lives.
Small Straws Scripture: Ecclesiastes 10:10 If the ax is dull, and one does not sharpen the edge, then he must use more strength; but wisdom brings success.
Wisdom makes our work in this world easier, so let us seek Christ’s will and His ways.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Psalm 23:4
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Even in the most challenging of situations we can take comfort that everything will be ok because our Father is with us and will always comfort us.
We have everything we need in Christ, we only have to remain His studies and willing vessels open to receive all that He has for you and me, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
