With our Father in our hearts, we shall fear not
“The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’" Romans 8:15
We have been “Set Free”. Romans 8:15 tells us, “The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’" Fear is learned, for when we were physically children, there was nothing we felt we could not do, and if we couldn’t do it, we felt our fathers (and/or mothers) definitely could do. We must remember this in our faith walk. God has equipped us with gifts specifically to do His work. Moreover, He has given us the Spirit—God himself, that lives within us. Therefore, what we can’t do on our own, He will do for us! No fear in this year! We are going to remain forward, focused, and following in faith without fear with our Father.
Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together
As with our Father, let us take time to get away and pray, even throughout the day in our workplaces. We can depend on Him to rescue us from anything. As we have seen in today’s passages, we only have to trust and believe; He will do the rest, so we can rest. When is the last time you have tested your own faith and tried him for yourself? Do it today.🙏🏽
Psalms 119:11
Let us carry the messages of our Father at our, for everything flows from our heart. Let our hearts choose love and to do His will above anything else.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
With our Father in our hearts, we shall fear not, my friend.
