Worship when you don’t feel worthy

“What can I ever give back to God to repay him for the blessings he's poured out on me?” Psalm 116:12

Psalm 116:12 reads, “What can I ever give back to God to repay him for the blessings he's poured out on me?” And as the title of today’s message says, “Nothing Expected”. Our Father loves and gives to us on a way that no one can or ever will. He gives freely, unconditionally, and all is unending and everlasting. The message today says, “One of the gifts the Lord has given us is the gift of grace…. God does not ask for repayment; he desires devotion.“ May we always work to make time and spend time with our Father, that’s all he desires of us in exchange for all He provides to us. Take a moment now to go to Him and thank Him if nothing else.

Reflection from You Are Not Alone

I am grateful for today’s message from “You Are Not Alone” for it shares an important subject that many seem to think Christians are in some way immune to or exempt from, and that depression. Today’s devotional speaks about Elijah, one of the great prophets. The text says, “He did important work for the Lord. Ironically, depression can follow times of great success. Even those who faithfully serve God can become depressed to the point of wanting to die.” Elijah experienced depression, and as with Him, we might too. As with Elijah, know that God will bring you through for you are important to Him and He chooses you. Hold to. Matthew 6:26, “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” He values you most, even when you may feel you aren’t worth it. Seek help and seek the Savior for your life matters.

1 Thessalonians 5:12-13

May we work to respect and hold in regard those who work alongside us each day, doing the work of our Father. Let us lead, love, and lift in peace.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
