Whether high or low, He is wherever you are and wherever you go

A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22

Today’s devotional, “The Best Medicine, reminds us that the best medicine is joy. Joy is found within the Lord. The text says, “Our emotions have a direct impact on our mental, physical, and spiritual health. When we choose to find joy even in pain and suffering, it has the capability of healing us.” May we work each day to find JOY in our JOurneY, for even in sorrow and pain, there is really much to gain.

Reflection from You Are Not Alone

This morning we hear of Jeremiah in the series “You Are Not Alone”. The author writes, “It is not wrong to hurt and despair to the point of wishing it all would end. But Jesus loves you, and He understands your pain. After all, he was human, too.” Jeremiah, like Job, wished he wasn’t even born because of the hurt and pain he felt. Yet our Father was either him and he never lost his faith. We are reminded by the message, “You can (and should) complain to God when you are suffering. He wants you to cry out to Him. He wants you to know that He is in the valley with you. You are not alone.” If you are in a low place, call out and cry out; He will bring you out.
