Favor is forever with the Father

“Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.””

‭‭John‬ ‭2:19‬ ‭ESV‬‬

On this last day of 2021, Osteen’s message, “Keep Looking Ahead”, is exactly what we need to encourage us as we forge into the new year. The scripture highlighted is that of Jesus saying, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it up in three days.” No, He wasn’t REferencing a building, but His body. Made in His image, our bodies are also temples. Though we may go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) in ‘22, let us REmember as Osteen says in today’s devotional, “In the tough times, the way to keep your joy is to keep looking ahead, knowing that you will have a flourishing finish, knowing that God always causes you to triumph.” Let us REmain convinced, keeping our perspective positive and knowing as we go into this new year, even if we lose, in Christ, we win, for He has and will continue to work ALL things for our good.

1 Samuel 24

As with David and Saul in 1 Samuel 24:4, there will come the day of which the Lord will give your enemy into your hand, and you shall do to him as it shall seem good to you. Until that time (and even after that) let us REmain forward, focused, and following in faith (and not fear) and favor to BE like our Father. Let’s not let our little ego get in the way of our big E.G.O., for everything God ordains for our victory and vindication in this life.

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

Today Meyer speaks about “Our Spiritual Heritage”, and she says, “Now, living righteously like Jesus doesn't happen overnight, and we will all stumble. After all, if we were perfect, we wouldn't need a Savior! Still, we must desire in our hearts to fulfill and enjoy our spiritual heritage. We also must learn to trust God, knowing that He will develop us into the likeness of His own Son, Jesus Christ.“ Father, as we prepare to enter into another year, let us continue to grow stronger in our faith walk with You, trusting in You and Your plans with our lives. Though we may stumble, let us REgain our strength looking to You.

My siSTAR, my brother, there’s nothing but greater for me and you in 2022.

Psalm 73:26

We may give in to our flesh, but with our trust and BElief in our Father we will never BE defeated. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Favor is forever with the Father, my friend.
