Daily Devotional for September 4, 2021
“This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.”
Hebrews 6:19 NLT
With time, experience, and life in general comes understanding. As a child (and even young adult) I REcall hearing My Soul Is Anchored In The Lord. I would sing along, but definitely didn’t truly have an understanding, but as Joel Osteen’s message from this morning mentions, “What’s going to keep your soul in the right place, what’s going to cause you to overcome challenges and reach your dreams, is being anchored to hope…. You know God is on the throne…nothing can move you.” As a REsult of what I’ve BEen T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) my soul is in the right place, and therefore I’m physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially in the right place. God has and continues to keep me, and I REmain in Him, and can REst assured BEcause I am anchored.
Joshua 16
As Joshua 16 speaks to allotment of territory, we are descendants of these same people and land. Let’s REmember our Father is rich, and therefore, all of our needs shall BE supplied, and many of our wants too.
REflection from Demonstrating God’s Presence in Business
I truly love and will continue to embrace the message from “Demonstrating God’s Presence In Business”. The text says, “Be a thermostat, not a thermometer…You have the ability to set atmospheres and shift undesirable atmospheres. You don’t simply measure the temperature like a thermometer, you impact it like a thermostat!” Now that’s powerful, and I have worked to do just that. It’s all about perspective and setting the tone. Manifest the mood, instead of settling in the situation.
James 5:13
Pray without ceasing whether in the pit or the palace. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Seek the signs of the Savior this Saturday, my friend.
