Every moment matters as we manifest what our Master has gifted us to do
“And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14 ESV
This morning Joel Osteen speaks about Esther, who God asked to step into the unknown, putting her life on the line for her people. Osteen said, “God was saying to her, ‘Esther if you don’t do it, I’ll find somebody else. But the problem is you’ll miss your destiny.’” Osteen basically says Esther felt that though she was encountering the unknown, no matter what would come her way, her life was in God’s hands. Not only was her JOurneY for herself, it was for her people. In this life we have to go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) for our breakthrough, but our experience will help others if we share in God’s grace and mercy towards us.
Osteen goes further to say, “Esther stepped up, and not only did God give her favor with her king, but He also saved her people and became one of the heroes of faith.” Yesterday, when I was experiencing a low point, I REceived a message from a dear siSTAR who asked me to call her. When I did, she brought me up to date on all that had occurred in her life since we last spoke in September. She said I’m sorry you had to go through for me, but thank you for sharing your story through your devotionals because they have helped me. Let us REmember (as the lyrics to I Give Myself Away by William McDowell say) “Our lives are not our own, to Him we belong.” Let us give ourselves away completely to Him, so He can use us. That was just the word I needed to continue on sharing, for I have wondered if anyone was still reading.🙏🏽
If you have read this message, please leave a comment or an Amen.
Judges 9
Judges 9:2 says, “Which is better for you, that all seventy of the sons of Jerubbaal rule over you, or that one rule over you?” Let’s choose one, the One and only Christ.
REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life
Our Father strategically gives me the words I need when I need them for confirmation and REassurance. This morning’s message by Joyce Meyer speaks to “Living with Contentment and Satisfaction”. She BEgins by saying, “The Bible says that godliness accompanied with contentment is great and abundant gain. What I take from that is, a godly person who is content is in the very best place he can possibly be.” Meyer goes on to say, “Contentment is not about fame or being well-known, how much money you have, your position at work or your social circle… Contentment is a heart attitude. There's nobody happier than a truly thankful person, a truly content person.” May we strive to BE content, living in the moment with no REgrets, knowing our Father has, is, and always will supply our needs. He has us where we need to BE this day and in this moment, and we can trust His will and way to guide and provide along life’s JOurneY.
Philippians 2:12
The work we do for Christ is more impactful than the work we do for (wo)man. Let us put in the work each day to tell and show of His marvelous work and His grace and mercy towards us. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
