REst is REquired to REap our REwards with the Father
“Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; And as thy days, so shall thy strength be.”
Deuteronomy 33:25 KJV
I was hoping to sleep in a little while this morning as this week has consisted of early mornings and long nights, but to my surprise, I was awakened at my usual time. As I REad the title of Osteen’s message, “The Strength You Need”, I couldn’t wait to REad the confirming words. REferencing Deuteronomy 33:25, Osteen says, “The Scripture says your strength will always be equivalent to what you need”, and that is exactly the case for me this morning. Though my week has BEen demanding, there is still work for me to do, but our Father has given me sufficient REst and the strength I need at this time for this day. Let us always REmember that He won’t put more on us than we can BEar, but whatever comes our way, He will give us the strength to endure and see it through.
Isaiah 63
When we are weary and worn, the Spirit of the Lord will give us rest, as written in Isaiah 63:14.
REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life
Meyer shares with us this morning the following: “God desires to heal His people from past hurts caused by rejection. He wants you to know He will never reject you.” She goes furthers saying, “He says in Matthew 11:28, ‘Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.’” Again, no matter the situation or circumstance, our Father will provide us with what we need. He doesn’t expect for us to BE perfect, but He does want us to REst assured in Him and know He will provide. We don’t have to BE perfect but just BE obedient.
