“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.” 2 Peter 3:18

2 Peter 3:18 says, “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.” The author this morning said, “Milk is essential to every part of a baby's healthy development. Our need for the Lord's Word is akin to that of an infant's need for milk. We are dependent on it for survival, and yet we have come accustomed to pacifying that need with other distractions. How strong would our faith be if we took the spiritual food that our souls crave?” Let us not forget that our thirsts and desires can BE quenched by the true and Living God, the true and Living Water that never runs dry.

John 7

“…If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (John‬ ‭7‬:‭37-38‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

Expect the Unexpected by John F. Hannah

The last message from John F. Hannah’s “Expect the Unexpected” says, “It is important that you understand the scripture Psalm 37:23: ‘The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.’ God can literally tell you where to go and what to do so that he can meet all of your needs. When it comes to resources the scripture is clear: ‘And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.’ You see, His ability to meet our needs is undeniable, but who or what He will use to meet those needs is unknown and can often be a complete surprise, or unexpected.” Let us truly learn to BE and listen for directions and steps from the Father. Let us not necessarily expect things to BE as we imagine, but as we have learned, expect the unexpected. Trust Him, His word, and His ways for our lives as we walk by faith (the unknown) and not by sight (the known).

Psalm 91:1
