Daily Devotional for August 4, 2021

“Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.” Psalm 5:12

God’s will is upon our lives, and as the title of today’s devotional from Osteen says, “You will excel.” You may not see it right now BEcause you are going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak), or you may actually BE experiencing your breakthrough. Whatever the case, think on Psalm 5:12 which reads, “Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.” Favor is upon us for us to flourish and not fail.

Leviticus 12

As with childbirth discussed in Leviticus 12, as something is birthed through us, may we give an offering back for the blessings REceived.

REflection from Awesome God: Midyear Prayer and Fasting (Family Devotional)

This morning’s devotional from Every Nation Philippines, speaks to the message God is our REstorer. One of my favorite scriptures is highlighted from Jeremiah 29:11. No matter what we may go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) He still has a plan for us—to prosper us and not to harm us. In Christ, we always have opportunities to BEgin again. The text says, “Today, most of us have experienced loss of some kind—loss of a job, financial security, health, or even a loved one. As God’s children, we can rest in the assurance that He will not abandon us through our losses. We can trust that He has a plan and that His plans are good. We must let this truth rest in our minds and in our hearts.” My brother, my siSTAR, know you can find rest and RESToration in Christ.

Romans 3:23-24

We may fall, but He doesn’t find failure in us. Instead His grace which is so sufficient brings favor upon our lives. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Walk unwavering in His wisdom this Wednesday, my friend.
