Daily Devotional for July 15, 2021
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…”
Psalm 23:6 KJV
Joel Osteen REminds us this morning that we have so much to look forward to in this life REgardless of what we have experienced or may currently BE growing T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak). He says, “If God doesn’t totally remove the difficultly, if he doesn’t totally turn it around, he will make it up to you… God can make the rest of your life so rewarding, so fulfilling, that it takes away the pain.” We can trust and BElieve that BEcause the word says, “Surely goodness and love shall follow me all the days of my life…”. No matter the circumstances, nothing nor no one can take away what God has promised me and you.
Genesis 42
Genesis 42 shows us, as with Joseph, we may speak a good game when someone does us wrong and the opportunity comes for us to get them back, but our actions should speak louder than words. And as in this case with Joseph, we must still do what is right and only let God BE our vindicator. Integrity is important to continue to do the will of God and truly prosper in this life.
REflections from Harvesting The Abundant Life
The last message from the series “Harvesting The Abundant Life” says, “For some people, the word discipline evokes a groan as they consider it either punishment or rigorous training…but Hebrews 12:11 entices us to embrace discipline with the promise of peace and righteousness.” I always encourage us to change our mindset. Instead of focusing on perception—what things look like, focus on perspective—that God can work everything for our good and only plans to prosper us, not harm us. We must continually grow and learn to deny our old selves and focus on God’s promises so that we may harvest all that He has for us in this life. We cannot keep doing the same thing and expect different REsults.
John 15:7
God is the ultimate “hookup” in this life. He can do all things, and has everything you need, and can provide the desires of your heart, if you only BElieve. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Thank Him this Thursday for the testimonies to come, my friend.
