Daily Devotional for July 14, 2021
“For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”
Romans 5:17 KJV
We must REmember who we are and Whose we are. Today’s devotional by Joel Osteen starts off that “The Most High God breathed His life in you. He crowned you with favor…Things will happen for you that you couldn’t make happen. The favor of God will open new doors, causing people to be good to you, paying you back for unfair situations.”. The key is will. We don’t have to worry about the past, BEcause what is to come is God’s will, and He will provide. He will do just what He said. He will work everything for our good (Romans 8:28). He will make your enemies your footstool (Psalm 110:1). You will lend and not borrow (Deuteronomy 15:6). That’s just a taste of favor that is upon our lives. Today is a new day with new beginnings, new blessings, new mercies, and new opportunities. That’s just the perspective to consider in this moment for our latter will BE greater, and our BEst is yet to come
Genesis 41
As spoken by Joseph in Genesis 41:16, it is not in (wo)man; only God shall give us peace. Let us BE obedient like Joseph, even when falsely accused, for God will BE our vindicator and lead us to our destiny.
REflection from Harvesting The Abundant Life
The saying goes you REap what you sow. Today’s message from Harvesting The Abundant Life highlights Psalm 16:11, where David explains that in God’s presence, we find abundance of joy. Let us strive to REmain focused on Him in all that we are and all that we do. Moreover, the devotional encourages us, “As we sow seeds of worship, thanksgiving and prayer into our daily lives, our eyes open to the bounty of life we possess in Yeshua.” Yes, our eyes will open and we will see and REap the harvest. Get REady for your overflow!
Psalms 59:16
As children of the Most High God, we never have to fight a battle, for God fights for us. He’s never lost a battle, and He never will. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
