Daily Devotional for February 2, 2021
“I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” (Psalms 27:13 KJV)
The message from Osteen is a cute one. He says, “An exclamation point is simply a question mark straightened out. If you want God to turn your question marks, the things you don’t understand, into exclamation points, you have to trust Him.” I love it, and I needed that REminder this morning. We must REmember that it rains on the just and the unjust. We are also warned that in this world there will BE trouble, but we should take heart, BEcause He has overcome the world (John 16:33). In the same manner that I work to encourage others, I have to encourage myself, and give myself grace, knowing my breakthrough is just BEyond whatever God is taking me T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, REgrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak). REst assured that yours is too.
Galatians 2
May we REmember as in Galatians 2:20, no matter what we do in this life, when we accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior, “...nevertheless we live; ...Christ liveth in us: and the life which we now live in the flesh we live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved us, and gave himself for us”(Galatians 2:20 KJV).
REflection from 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: The Sauce
Today’s devotional from “21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: The Sauce”, showed me that I definitely need to expand my thought and prayer life BEyond my circles. This morning’s devotional allowed me to scrutinize my prayer life. I tend to pray for my city when situations arise in the media, but I rarely intentionally pray for my city just BEcause. Today, I will extend BEyond my comfort zone and incorporate daily prayer for this place I call home BEyond my home.
Galatians 2:20
We will go T.H.R.O.U.G.H.(Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) in this life. Those valley lows and challenging times REinforce the fact that He paid the ultimate sacrifice, and we must sacrifice and BE criticized too, as His children, to truly understand that He lives in us.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Today is a TESTament of trust in Thee, this Tuesday. We are living, this day, the prayers we once prayed.
