Daily Devotional for August 22, 2021

“Not one word has failed of all the wonderful promises he gave through his servant Moses.” 1 Kings 8:56

Today’s message from Osteen speaks about how God’s promises never fail. 1 Kings 8:56 reads, “Not one word has failed of all the wonderful promises he gave through his servant Moses.” The devotional goes on to REmind us that nothing is impossible with God. As I learned through studying over the years, someone said impossible is “I’m possible” with God. We have to REmember this when we are in the middle—along our JOurneY. Change our mind, change our perspective, and that changes our outcome. REmember there is a purpose and plan, and challenges and adversity come to make us stronger and wiser.

Joshua 3

As with the priests and the Israelites in Joshua 3, things look impossible until we give them to and trust in God. I know there had to be some initial doubt of how they would cross the Jordan river, yet, they fell back and allowed themselves to be led, trusting in the Father to make a way out of what seemed no way.

REflection from Sharing Your Faith

This morning’s final message from the series “Sharing Your Faith” speaks about spreading JOY. Just this morning I received a direct message from a friend who is REading my book. She, like others, commented about the similarities between my life and her life. The final message this morning says, “Whether you share your faith through your story, extending an invitation, appealing to someone’s intellect, or spreading joy, whatever is your best evangelistic tool, use it!” Each and every one of us is a vessel, and we should BE willing to BE used by Him to share about Him using the time, talents, and REsources (to include experiences)He has given to us.

Colossians 3:13

REmember, forgiveness is for you. Give yourself the gift of freedom from internal hurt and pain. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Serve and save yourself in the Savior this Sunday, my friend.
