Daily Devotional for March 23, 2021
“But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods.” Daniel 3:18
This morning’s devotional REally made me see how my life is in a win-win situation. There are so many things that are going on in my life where decisions have to BE made, but REgardless of my decision, I won’t lose. That is an amazing position to be in, and it is all attributed to my faith. Similar to the three Hebrew teenagers Osteen REferences this morning in his message, they REfused to bow down and worship the king’s gods, but instead trusted in the Father and BElieving as we should, “Even if it doesn’t happen my way, I’m still going to be happy. God, if You turn it around, or if You don’t turn it around, I’m still going to give You praise.” Osteen continues to REmind us, when we live like that nothing can keep us from our destiny. REmember, sometimes we have to lose to truly win.
Esther 2
As we JOurneY along this life, let us BE like Esther, requesting nothing but obtaining favor in the sight of all who encounter us BEcause of who we are and Whose we are (Esther 2:15 NKJV).
REflection from Creating a Spiritual Community at Work
After fifteen years of commitment to an organization, it took today’s devotional to give me an outlook on my career. As today’s devotional speaks to I REalize that I listen well and have listened well to those around me. There’s a saying by Theodore Roosevelt which states, “People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.” Today’s message says, “When you set your mind to be the best listener in your workplace, you will be surprised by what you hear and how many come to you. They will come to share life with you and to invite you into their world because they know you care enough to listen.” Just last night a colleague REached out in confidence, and at the end of the call I stated, “Thank you for BEing comfortable enough to trust me with assisting you.” As I work to REmain a willing vessel to BE used, and as the scripture encourages, “So then, my beloved brethren, let every (wo)man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath” (James 1:19 NKJV).
Psalm 18:2
There is no other foundation to BE rooted and grounded in to bless and keep you in and through life’s JOurney. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
