Daily Devotional for March 22, 2021

Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Psalm 107:1 NKJV

I truly needed this word this morning and at this moment. I was up late and unable to sleep, so I BEgan reading until my eyes were tired. Even then I turned on meditation music to calm my thoughts even after praying. My mind is always on the go, BEcause I am a doer. Then this morning, a monkey wrench has BEen thrown at me unexpectedly, where the enemy is trying to get under my skin, but as the title of today’s devotional says, I have a made up mind. No matter what comes my way to prevent me or distract me, in Osteen’s words, “I’m going to be my best me...and I’m going to stay in faith.” Let us BE our BEst, do our BEst, and God will take care of the REst.

Esther 1

Though in Esther 1, after Queen Vashti REfused to grace King Ahasuerus, the decree made by the king was proclaimed throughout all his kingdom, vast as it is, all women will give honor to their husbands, high and low alike...and declaring that every man should be master in his own house” Esther 1:20 and 22). Let us keep a perspective: honor shall BE earned and man should BE master in his home, not over his wife.

Creating a Spiritual Community at Work

This is definitely the perfect time to BEgin a new series, and BEcause of the altering of my schedule today, I have chosen “Creating Spiritual Community at Work” by DaySpring. The devotional REminds us that we should work with excellence, but it also REminds us that, “Our workplaces are filled with men and women who are frazzled.” May we not let the challenges of others keep us from BEing and doing our work in excellence. One of my favorite scripture is connected with today’s message found in Colossians 3:23-24, “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” Perspective is key along this JOurneY in our personal and professional lives.

1 John 4:4

Greater is He that is in me, than (s)he that I walk BEside each day. There’s none greater. REverence is due to Him and only REspect to others. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Minimize the mischief by focusing on the Master this Monday, my friend.
