Daily Devotional for March 21, 2021

Then God remembered Rachel’s plight and answered her prayers by enabling her to have children. Genesis 30:22 NLT

Jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so, but I also know from life experiences. Once again this morning He speaks to my heart, and through Osteen’s devotional and the title alone, I’m comforted in knowing, everything occurs “At the Right Time”. Osteen comforted my heart this morning with the gentle REminder saying, “But when you live in peace, you won’t be trying to figure out why...You give it to God. At the right time God will remove what’s supposed to be removed. He’ll change what’s supposed to be changed...As with Rachel, the darkness gave way to the light, and that secret frustration gave way to a huge blessing.” His timing is perfect so enJOY what He has afforded you in this moment, for you are now living what you once prayed for. Peace and perspective—let us keep our minds stayed on Thee and know He’ll provide what’s best for me (and you).

Hosea 14

Let us pray to the Lord as in Hosea 14:2 and 19, “Take away all guilt; accept that which is good, and we will offer the fruit of our lips...For Your ways are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.”

REflection from Conversations in a Cave

Today’s final word from T.D. Jakes is entitled “The Miracle of Isolation”. Many people don’t like to BE alone, and as I have JOurneYed along life’s path these past few years, I have REalized that isolation causes us to truly deal with ourselves. Jakes gets our attention by saying, “The Word wants to get to who you are when no one’s looking. The Word wants to deal with your uncertainties, your insecurities, and your vulnerabilities...This is not about your gift or your talent; this is about you!” When we are in isolation, we cannot hide behind our strengths, gifts, and talents in front of anyone, but we must confront who we are to the only One. The message continues, “In those moments of isolation, when God is revealing yourself to you, He is also revealing Himself to you.” I encourage you to welcome isolation and no longer hide the truths about yourself that you work to hide from and deny in front of others, but BE honest with yourself and Thee, REvealing to experience healing.
