Daily Devotional for October 11, 2020

Daniel answered, “May the king live forever! My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.” Daniel‬ ‭6:21-22‬ ‭

No matter what we go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, REgrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) we can REst assured that God will keep us in perfect peace if we keep our minds stayed on Thee (Isaiah 26:3). As Osteen speaks to this morning, “There is no storm (not situation) where God cannot keep us”, like he kept Daniel in the Lion’s den. What the enemy plans for our harm, God protects us an will work for our good—never failing. REst in Him so your test BEcomes your TESTimony.

Deuteronomy 28

God desires to set us high above all nations on the earth; we just must obey. He will bless us when we come in and bless when we go out...The Lord will grant us abundant prosperity... The Lord will make us the head, not the tail. If we pay attention to the commands of the Lord out God.... We will always be at the top, never at the bottom.” (Deuteronomy‬ ‭28:1-3, 6, 11, 13‬)

During the first day of the series Jehovah Shalom, Tony Evans REminds us to take comfort; “Like Gideon, we can rest assured that even in the face of incredible turmoil, God can still be known as Jehovah Shalom (the Lord is peace) when the ultimate source of turmoil and the true source of peace are understood.” My brothers and sisters, BE still and know that He is God (Psalms 46:10) and BE at peace.

2 Corinthians 5:7

Eyes haven’t seen and neither have ears heard all the things He has prepared for our lives. We cannot REly on what we have seen and experienced in the past, nor where we are in the present. We must trust and BElieve by faith He will lead us to our latter which is promised to BE greater and our BEst that is yet to come. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
