We don’t have to wander or wonder during our wait with the Father
“For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17 NLT
The enemy works hard to get into our minds, BEcause when we lose focus and it BEcomes idle, we sometimes forget who we are and Whose we are. Osteen’s message this morning is a REminder that there is a royal anointing on our lives. “This means to live an abundant life, to accomplish your God-given dreams, to leave your mark on this generation…. The anointing will cause you to accomplish dreams you could never accomplish on your own.” We shouldn’t ever just try to do something—or success is guaranteed if we put in the work and just BElieve. It might take a little time, and God’s timing at that, but He’s never lost a battle and never failed, and He’s not going to start with me and you now.
Ezekiel 22
No matter what we say or do, we will know that He is the Lord, even though (wo)man may dishonor Him (Ezekiel 22:16).
REflection from Wait, What? by Megan Wright
This morning’s message by Megan Wright should cause us to evaluate the company we keep. She says, “If we aren’t careful – the who’s around us might determine our next steps, instead of us allowing God to determine our next steps.… When we are in the waiting, we need a Joshua and Caleb around us. We need people who are willing to speak up and give us a bigger perspective than our circumstances. A bigger perspective than the people around us who talk out of their own fear and doubt. A perspective that sees the GOOD in the midst of trouble; that sees the ABUNDANCE OF GOD, in the middle of the waiting.” Having to wait can BE difficult; we BEgin to worry and wonder and ask when, wearing ourselves out. Instead let us surround ourselves with prayer warriors, the Caleb’s and Joshua’s who know the importance of waiting well. When we wait upon the Lord, we know we will REap a harvest specifically for us.
John 1:5
No matter how gloomy and lonely a situation might BE there will always BE a light, even if a bit dimmed, in you and me.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
We don’t have to wander or wonder during our wait with the Father, my friend.
