Wisdom is in the waiting

“So as David stood there among his brothers, Samuel took the flask of olive oil he had brought and anointed David with the oil. And the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David from that day on. Then Samuel returned to Ramah.”

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭16‬:‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Today’s message from Osteen is titled “Be Patient”. Well, patience is a virtue, BEhavior showing height moral standards. We all know it takes a lot to BE patient when there is something you desire and BElieve you’re deserving of, and who knows that BEtter than our Father? As we wait on Christ for the desires of our heart, let us BE mindful of David. Osteen tells us that David was anointed by Samuel to be the next king of Israel, but sent David back to the fieldsto take care of the sheep for years! Know that your wait will BE worth it.

Ezekiel 21

No matter who or what, “‘Everyone in the world will know that I am the Lord. My sword is in my hand, and it will not return to its sheath until its work is finished’” (Ezekiel‬ ‭21‬:‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬).

REflections from Wait, What by Megan Wright

This morning Megan Wright continues with her message about waiting saying, “We forget how God has come through so often in our past because we become so focused on what we don’t have in the present. We start to act out of our emotions (like fear or panic) instead of facts or rationality. We start to view other situations through the lens of our waiting (impatience, loss of hope, negativity). We try and fill that lack of movement with movement in other areas like emotional eating or emotional shopping (*adds to cart) because we get antsy.“ As we have to wait, let us wait well, REflecting on how the Father has seen us to and through BEfore, and how He has given us not only what we have asked, but has provided exceedingly abundantly in many situations. His timing is perfect.

Matthew 5:8

Let us purge anything that prevents us from BEing pure at heart to BE at peace in our purpose.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Wisdom is in the waiting, my friend.
