Daily Devotional for September 22, 2021

Sometimes our dreams get deferred, and other times they might even BE destroyed. As the message from Osteen makes clear, it’s not a surprise to God though. Everything God Ordains. Many times we have a plan for our lives, but God, through those disappointments gives us a choice to make excuses or execute His plan, for He has something greater in mind for our lives. I had a dream of BEcoming a doctor in college, yet I ended up as a teacher, but that wasn’t the end. Who would have ever thought that dream would just be deferred, and even more, that I’d BE a vice president of a college? Make your pain your purpose, not your pity party.

In this life we must REmember when we commit a sin we must confess, as written in Numbers‬ ‭5:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

Today we BEgin “I Am Holy: 7 Keys to Unlock Your Future”. In the message we are told, “Holiness is a divine calling, not a human accomplishment.… To be holy is to be His. So let’s be clear: our holiness does not spring from our actions but from our identity.” I’m grateful to know that whose I am outweighs what I do. This further REiterates that our Father loves us just as we are. I REceive it and affirm it today that I AM HOLY.
