Daily Devotional for September 21, 2021

“Then He said to Thomas, ‘Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.’”

‭‭John‬ ‭20:27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

People talk about wanting change and needing change, yet when change BEgins to occur, they are REsistant to it BEcause of their mindset, and unbelief. What they’ve asked for and desire comes to them, but because it might BE unexpected or doesn’t come in the way they expected, they are unable to REceive from being anchored in discouragement, worry, or negativity, as Osteen discusses in today’s devotional. With times like this, we have to show people better than we can tell them, and just say, as Osteen shares one of the most simple and straightforward messages from John 20:27, “Stop doubting and just believe.”

Numbers 4

Each of us have responsibilities for the upbuilding of the kingdom here on earth, and as with the scripture in Numbers 4:49, we are numbered … according to our service and according to our task…. We must REmember that we all have REsponsibilities and must work to REspect the work of others. If it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a kingdom to draw (wo)man.

REflection from Strength in God’s Presence

Today’s final message from “Strength in God’s Presence” REminds us, the Holy Spirit says: “I am not leaving you. I will give you strength. I will wait and give you what you need. You’re the one I’ve come for. As long as it takes. I am not leaving you.” Oh, how sweet and comforting to know that wherever we are, whatever we are going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak), when we isolate ourselves but don’t REally want to BE alone, He’s always there—a true friend indeed and the ultimate provider.

Romans 12:12

We work to keep hopeful, and faithful, but let us center on BEing patient in the pain and painful moments, for it’s necessary for growth and gain. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

May trials and tears transform to triumphs and treasures, this Tuesday, my friend.
