Daily Devotional for September 29, 2020

“Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Let us REmember that our God is sovereign. He is all seeing, all knowing, ever present, even during times of trouble and struggle. Osteen REminds us, “The storms of life come to every person...but God will not allow a storm unless He has divine purpose for it.” As one of my favorite verses provides us with REassurance and guarantee, that ALL things work together for good (Romans 8:28).

Deuteronomy 16

Let us REmain confident with GODfidence, REjoicing through the good and the bad. “The Lord our God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.” (Deuteronomy‬ ‭16:15‬)

Perspective is what I have BEen focusing on intentionally since 2019. I have learned to find the good in everything and every situation, for we can truly find a blessing in a storm. As Mark Batterson speaks about perspective in today’s devotional, he says, “If you let your circumstances define the way you see God, you are a prisoner of perspective. Or worse, a prisoner of your past mistakes! But if you let God define the way you see your circumstances, you are a prisoner of hope.” May we not look back but REmain forward, focused, following in faith (and not fear) and favor, REalizing that God has a purpose and plan for everything in our lives—the good and the bad. May we work to keep a positive perspective in our hope for what’s to come in our lives.

Romans 10:9

Life with the Father is as easy as A-B-C: ask, believe, and claim to be saved. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Take time to talk to Thee this Tuesday, my friend.
