Create your own culture centered on Christ

“One of them, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was reclining next to him.”

‭‭John‬ ‭13:23‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This morning Joel Osteen speaks about “Your Inner Circle”. He says, “Be careful who you allow in your inner circle.… Make sure they believe in you and are with you through thick or thin. You may not be seeing God's best because you're investing valuable time in people who were never supposed to be a part of your inner circle.” Last night I was having dinner with one of my circle maker and inner circle friends, and we were having a similar conversation with a young woman who had recently graduated from college and was starting her career in the area. We spoke to her about the same thing. It is important to BE careful of the company you keep. I know those who I surround myself with pray for me and are mindful of my goals and who I strive to BE. Birds of a feather flock together, but I soar with eagles.

Isaiah 49

When we pray and go to the Father let us always know, as written in Isaiah 49:8, “In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you…”.

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

We are REminded this morning that “Jesus Came to Guide Us into the Way of Peace”. Meyer states, “Luke 1:79 says that one of the things God sent Jesus to do is to guide us ‘into the way of peace.’" She then poses the question: “Have you made pursuing peace a priority?” Similar to her story this morning, I, too, around the age of forty chose to speak peace BEcause my life was in pieces. Choosing to let go of what I tried to orchestrate and let God ordain, I now know and have experienced true peace that surpasses all understanding. Seek it for yourself if you haven’t this day.
