It’s a new day with new BEginnings, new mercies, new blessings, and new opportunities
“He did not let anyone follow him except Peter, James and John the brother of James.” Mark 5:37 NIV
Today Osteen speaks about Jesus praying for a little girl in Mark 5 who died, and how He only allowed certain individuals to go in with Him. Like Him, Osteen says, “When you're in the heat of the battle, when you need a breakthrough, you need people who are joined in spirit with you.” Make sure you know who your bold BEliever friends are, and call on those prayer warriors during your battles.
Isaiah 50
As in Isaiah 50:4-5, May we always depend on the Lord to give us a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens us morning by morning, wakens our ear to listen like one being instructed. The Sovereign Lord has opened our ears; we have not been rebellious, we have not turned away.
REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life
Today’s message, “His Mercies Are Always New” makes me think of what I say most mornings: it’s a new day with new BEginnings, new mercies, and new opportunities and new blessings. I BEgan saying that a few years ago as I was transitioning in life. As Meyer speaks to today, she says, “Each day is a new opportunity to close the door on the past and experience a brand-new start.… What is done is done, and only God can take care of it now. Your part is to admit your mistake, repent, receive God's forgiveness, and go on.“ We have BEen blessed with an opportunity to BEgin again today. What will you do this day with your clean slate, create something new or waste an opportunity?
