“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Proverbs‬ ‭27:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This morning Osteen speaks about evaluating RElationships in our lives. He says, “There are people who come into our lives who are like scaffolding…. They help us grow, inspire us, and motivate us. But at some point scaffolding must come off or else the building will never be what it was meant to be, and so must some people.”There is one point I disagree with in this message, and that is the fact that he says, he’s not speaking about a marriage situation. Marriages, too, must BE assessed, for your partner should BE your BEst friend. That individual, too, can help or hinder. REgardless of the RElationship, make sure it is helping you and not hindering you.

Isaiah 48

Let us REmember, “This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭48:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

Meyer focuses in on confidence this morning saying, “True confidence never comes from how we feel or what we can or can't do - it comes from having a revelation of who we are in Christ.… As you look at what is right with God instead of what is wrong with you, you will begin to walk in the confidence that comes from being in Him.“ There is a GODfidence in each and everyone of us, for we were made in His image. Focus on your gifts and strengths that He has provided uniquely for you, and use them as He leads you through.
