Good morning, my friend. How was your REst? Today’s devotional is titled “Sweat Dreams”. The writer says, like the disciples during the raging storm, “We can also worry about storms in our lives…. Troubles may surround us, but Jesus never leaves us nor forsakes us.“ Let us always REst assured that our Father will calm any storms in our lives. Let us give them to Him and find REst in His safety.

Today’s messages from “Freedom and the Single Mom” says “Offense is the Root of Bitterness”. The message BEgins, “The wounds left by life’s treacherous journey can be deep…. The wounds left by those battles can sometimes leave us angry…. If we’re not careful, anger births offense. And if left unattended, an offense can develop a full-fledged tree of bitterness. Living bitter is exhausting.” We must work not to forget but forgive as Christ did for us. Do not let bitterness take root, for it will allow a growth weeds that prevent our perspective from BEing clear, and can grow to hold us captive to people and things of the past. Forgiveness is truly for you. Kill the offensiveness with kindness to others, and watch God BE your vindicator, working all things for your good.
