Always find the JOY in your JOurneY
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, Hebrews 12:1
This morning’s devotional BEgins by saying, “The writer of Hebrews compares our Christan journey to that of running a race…. Races often start out feeling quite manageable, but inevitably there comes a point when completing the race seems not only daunting but perhaps impossible.” We must REmember if everything was easy, everyone would BE doing it. We also must REmember that it rains on the just and the unjust, therefore, we will go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) to get to our breakthrough. But to get through, as the text says, “Your call as a runner is to fix your eyes on God… But eyes staid on him will give you all the strength you need.” Keep your head up, for you have a crown of royalty and life to carry, showing the world that you are a child of the most High God, focused on fulfilling your destiny in life.
REflection from Freedom and the Single Mom by Jennifer Maggio
The final message from “Freedom and the Single Mom” speaks to “There’s a War No One is Talking About”. Maggio says, “Spiritual warfare is real. There is an unseen world that rages against us…. Moms, most of what you wrestle is not in what you see… You are wrestling against an unseen world!“ 1 Corinthians 2:9 REminds us, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy, working to keep us from what He has prepared for us. Keep your eyes stayed on Thee and run your race.
Psalm 143:10
Let us BE open to REceive the knowledge that He has for you and me.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
