BE well this Mother’s Day for you are deserving of the same love that you give

“It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep.” Psalm 4:8

REst is important to our lives. This morning Psalm 4:8 is highlighted, which says, “It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep.” The devotional goes on to say, “Ask God for the energy and strength to face another day. He will give you what you need.” May we each make time, as we do for everything else, to get REst, for even REst is of God. It’s the sabbath, so let us do as our Father, at least on this day.

REflection from Seen: Healing Despair and Anxiety Through Connection by Will Hutchetson and Chinwe Williams.

Today we BEgin “Seen: Healing Despair and Anxiety Through Connection” by Will Hutchetson and Chinwe Williams. The message for today is “Connections Cure”. The devotional BEgins, “There are two primary relationships that the human soul needs: Connection with our Heavenly Father and Connection with Others. We are wired for community. We are hard-wired with the need to be seen. Being seen doesn’t mean just sight. To be truly seen means to be known, loved, and understood on a deeper level.” May we each continue to BE blessed with RElationships with those who pour into us with love and understanding. Know that each of you do just that for me, and I pray I do the same for you.
