Witness and walk as a warrior in the Word
“‘By my power I will make my people strong, and by my authority they will go wherever they wish. I, the Lord, have spoken!’”
Zechariah 10:12 NLT
I’m truly enJOYing the perspective of the palm tree and understanding its endurance and adaptability in a storm. This morning we learn from Osteen that when a palm tree is bent over in a storm it is thought that it would BE weakened, but in actuality, it’s roots are BEing strengthened. So similarly, when we are in Christ, as Osteen says, “You’re going to come out stronger, healthier, wiser, better off and ready for new growth… standing stronger.” Let us not BE afraid to bend and even sometimes BE broken in life, for it’s only preparing us and strengthening us for what’s to come. Newer level, same devil, yet new strength and REsilience to press on—from pieces to peace.
Judges 18
As encouraged in the scripture from Judges 18:6, “Go in peace… For the Lord is watching over your journey.”
REflection from Promises for Your Everyday
Each devotional is so timely and inspiring. This morning as I physically REturn to work, I have BEen REminded, though I have (and continue to) weather my own storm, I’m like a palm tree, BEing strengthened. And now from Meyer’s message “God Approves of You”, I am REminded from the message, “When you're rooted in God's love, He's going to help you stand up in faith and start walking in obedience to Him. But you can't go ahead of Him trying to do good works on your own. You have to know the Word so that you can know who you are in Christ.” It is written in the word that He has a plan for us to prosper and not harm us, but it also is written that it rains on the just and the unjust. Though it rains, it’s only temporary. Without rain our roots in the Lord won’t grow for us to REach our potential.
Let us always REmember we are approved, yet sometimes we have to go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) for our breakthrough in Christ.
Hebrews 4:12
Let us cover ourselves in the Word for it is the ultimate protection in the battle of life. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
