There’s so much in you to see through
“The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1
Today Osteen highlights Psalm 27:1, which reads, “The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” A stronghold is a defensive structure, and we know nothing can come up against Christ, for He’s never lost a battle and never will. Therefore, we have nothing or no one to BE afraid of in this life. The enemy may come to try to kill, steal, and destroy but God is our ultimate defense. As Osteen speaks about a friend who battled cancer three times, let us too, thank God and give more than folk expect us to in life, for we know we have purpose in this life, and we know the number of days, God will fulfill, but we must live in the moment with no REgrets. For He has given us THIS day. Let us not let any weapon formed against us prosper, nor allow ourselves to BEcome that weapon if we’re battling hurt, pain, sickness, disease or going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak). Give each moment all you’ve got, for God is in you and protecting you.
Judges 19
I BElieve this morning might BE the first morning my message may BE a little flesh focused, but it is what I am led to say. Women (and men), we have choices in life and our Father did not create us to live in misery, but in the fruit of the Spirit of love, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). With the situation in Judges 19:2 a woman became angry with her mate and returned to her father’s home in Bethlehem, but eventually REturned with the man, only for him to cause her to lose her life. Let us not lose our lives—physically, mentally, or emotionally to another. If you cannot save your marriage (or RElationship) save yourself. Today’s word should provide text as many question God about divorce.
REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life
This morning Joyce Meyer speaks to “Eating the ‘Solid Food’ of God’s Word”. Like babies, we too, eventually must grow and grow out of baby food to further develop. It is similar in studying and walking in the word. Meyer says this morning, “It's the same with baby Christians. When we start consuming God's Word, we start growing up spiritually. We stop walking in the flesh and start doing what He wants us to do.” Let us have childlike faith but study to develop and strengthen ourselves in the word each day and use what we learn in our walk, talk, and action.

We have nothing or anything to fear in this life with the Lord as our stronghold. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
