Daily Devotional for October 27, 2020
When the Lord your God has brought you into the land that he swore to your ancestors, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you—a land with fine, large cities that you did not build… Deuteronomy 6:10
I know God is using me to share this message to you today for confirmation. Where we are right now is only temporary. He has brought us a mighty long way. I, personally, am living my latter, and I cannot speak for you, but as Osteen REminds us, “God has been good to you, but you haven’t seen anything yet. What God has in your future will supersede what you’ve seen in your past. That’s not being selfish. That’s releasing your faith for the fullness of your destiny.” REcognize those temporary things that you are making permanent BEcause of the look of comfort, but in your heart and soul you are uncomfortable and uneasy.
God is a God of peace, and love who lives within us. If you are not at peace within yourself, get REady for your shift, for God wants to take you to a place that you’ve never experienced—a place where you think you don’t deserve but the Father knows you do. God tells us to BE still and know that He is God, but He encourages us to WALK into our season. What are you waiting for? Go get your blessing! It’s your time!
Ephesians 6
Yes, where God is about to take you, you must go alone. For what God has for you, it is for you. The thought and look of it may make you feel like you are doing wrong, but you must honor your Father be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power. Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand...and fasten the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness. As shoes for your feet put on whatever will make you ready to proclaim the gospel of peace...take the shield of faith,...the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Most importantly, pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication (Ephesians 6:10-11, 14-18).
In the devotional by Tauren Wells today, he says, “There are some that choose to follow Jesus at a distance because of what getting close may cost them...but scripture says, ‘Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.’ We must watch our steps. We have to make an intentional decision to pursue Jesus more and more every day. Christianity is lived on an incline, and if you're not moving forward, you’re slipping backwards.” As I have told a few people lately, sometimes we have to lose to win. When we walk with the Father, we are always on the winning team. Let go and let God have His way, and let go and let God’s (not yours, your significant other’s, your children’s, or anyone else’s) will BE done.
Proverbs 1:7
Don’t block you blessings and all that the Father has in store for you. REspect and obey what He is telling you and where He is leading you, for what He has for you, is for you. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Today is the day to tread in truth this Tuesday, my friend.
